Strawberries

To me, nothing says summertime like berry picking. Being from Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
strawberries have a special place in my heart, especially growing up with the Strawberry Festival celebration right in my home town.
Last weekend we took Baby Boy berry picking for the 1st time, at Mac's Berry Field in Bloomer, Wisconsin. He enjoyed eating all the berries and he even picked them himself.

Railroad tracks. I have yet to get a picture of a train. Of course, last week I had the perfect opportunity but I didn't have my camera!

Hello Wisconsin

Long overdue Hello Wisconsin post! Honestly, before moving here when I thought about Wisconsin I thought, farms. Farms, farms and more farms!  oh yeah, and the Green Bay Packers. But that is not the case, there is more to Wisconsin than farms & the Packers.   I haven't had a chance to photograph any farms yet. I do love the look of farms and I always think how I'd like to photograph them. 
We have lots of exploring  to do in the new state we live in, this is just the beginning.

 Looks like Eau Claire had 3 theatres at one point, one is now a church.
