Irma

This post is in memory of my grandma Irma. One of the most special people anyone had the pleasure of meeting. She raised 9 kids after her husband died in 1972; the youngest was under 3 years old.   She had 34 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She loved kids, every one of her grandchildren and great grandchildren had a place in her heart. She was Italian, so she was always feeding us. The 2 things I will never forget about my Grandmother is she loved God & antiques. God, above all. she was deeply religious.
Her antiques will never be forgotten by anyone, especially in town. This is just 1 of 5 buildings that my Dad, Aunts & Uncles have to deal with now that she is gone.

Eagle River, Michigan

Growing up in the Keweenaw Peninsula I've always been a minutes drive from some body of water. I love being by the water,  especially Lake Superior.  My soul is at peace when I am by a large body of water and when I am traveling. During my most recent trip to the U.P. I visited  Eagle River, Michigan with my Son, Dad & Brother to go swimming and look for agates. There were no agates, unfortunately, and the wind made it a tad too cold to swim, but it was a beautful day anyway.

Wedding!

My little sister Jessie got married this past weekend. It was a gorgeous day in Silver City, Michigan, perfect for her outdoor wedding. Lots of fun! She of course was a very beautiful bride.
I took some wedding shots, I'd love to do actual wedding pictures, maybe someday when I know what I am actually doing.
