I wish I had some awesome Thanksgiving photos to share about all things that go along with the Holiday, but I do not. Unfortunately, I once again haven't been out shooting lately! I really just need to focus on taking more pictures during my everyday life.
I will share some things I am grateful for,
1. My husband.
For always loving me, even in my times of anger, jealousy, self-doubt, etc.
2. My boys.
I cannot thank God enough for allowing me to have 2 healthy, happy boys.
3. My family.
I do not know where I would be without them.
4. My friends.
Some of them are my biggest fans (you know who you are).
5. My neighbor.
I'm not much of a "I want to be buds with my neighbor" type of person, in fact I wanted a house way in the boonies so I didn't have to socialize with any neighbors :-p , BUT we have the best one we could ask for. She loves my boys like they're her own, babysits, and helps us out when we need it!
6. Self growth.
I may not be where I want to be in terms of me in everyday life but I am making progress. Last November I joined MOMS Club , AND even became secretary. Being in MOMS Club has helped immensely with getting by and getting out as a stay at home mom; good for me and the kids.
Last year I also joined Mary Kay as well. It encourages me to grow and dream! Through both I have met some pretty awesome people. And I may even be coming out of my shell a bit.
What are YOU thankful for?

Morning Drive
I'm not sure if I remember driving and watching the sun rise before, at least not totally seeing it rise. I found it to be so beautiful on the drive to the U.P. I loved the silhouette of the barns.
I just may have to take a drive specifically for a photo-shoot during this time of day.
These photos were snapped from our moving car, so they may not be the greatest.

Crisp, Frosty Morning
Last weekend we drove to the U.P. for my son's baptism, we left at 6:30 a.m. It was a very cold morning, frost was everywhere for hours. I quickly snapped this shot on a potty break on the side of the road. If I took all the pictures I wanted to along the way we wouldn't have got there till the next day!

Fall Sunburst
Fall is coming to a close, so it's time to get creative till Winter arrives. This time of year is so ugly to me, except the sunrises and sunsets. I do have a certain spot in the yard that I like during this time of year, I love how the sunlight shines through the trees in the early evening before it gets dark.

Fall at Brunet Island State Park
A few weeks back we took a nice, Fall color drive to Brunet Island State Park. The park is unique because the Chippewa and Fisher River run through it. The park has 2 campground sections, one section is along the inlets of the river which is very peaceful to camp next to.

Crisp, Fall Morning
"Everyone must take time to sit & watch the leaves turn."
-Elizabeth Lawrence
I do enjoy Fall, I love the beautiful colors the trees change to the most. Daily in the Fall I get to see this beautiful sight out my kitchen window when the sun rises. I snuck outside on Saturday morning to take a few pictures in the crisp air. It was a chilly low 30 or high 20 something, with heavy frost but that didn't stop me from getting on the ground to get some of the shots.
I like Fall, just not what I know is around the corner!
What is your favorite season?

Autumn in Jim Falls, WI
A few weeks back we took a ride to Brunet Island State Park. To get there you go through a little town called Jim Falls.
The drive was a much needed and this beautiful location was my favorite part.

Cyrus; 3 Month Photos
Things are different with a second child, perhaps not as many milestones are written down, not as many pictures during pregnancy, birth, after birth, etc are taken.
This time around, with Cyrus, I want to take more "professional" photos. I didn't do it with my 1st, mainly because I didn't get into taking photos till he was about 6 months and I was too cheap to pay someone to do it professionally :-P !
I took these photos yesterday, it was a chilly, drizzly day.
Some brother pictures, I can't wait to see how their relationship unfolds. I can tell Cyrus already loves his big brother, he always looks for him if he hears him talking.

Busy Bee Sunflower
I've always had a thing for sunflowers, at one time they were my favorite flower. I just love how they look and how they attract birds and insects. I planted some this year at our house but only a few sprouted. This one in particular had 16 flower heads on it and was 7 feet tall, but it blew down in the wind one night. I was bummed! But I did cut off the flowers to make a pretty bouquet, which by the way leaves A LOT Of pollen on the counter.

Big Falls County Park
Some shots from a few weeks back at an Eau Claire County Park. We've lived in this area for more than a year and we just found out about it not long ago, and we finally got around to checking it out. The walk in is easy along a trail so we decided to hike a bit on the rocks. The area is really pretty. I can't wait to check it out in the Spring when the water will be rushing from the Spring melt.

Frosty Leaves
This morning was cold and frosty. I had an idea in mind to capture the frost on the grass, but wasn't sure it would work out, so I decided to take photos of the leaves which I also thought looked pretty. My grass idea didn't work but I am going to try again next time it is frosty.

Colors of Late Autumn
I missed the peak of the colors this Fall because of our move and settling in. They seemed rather odd this year in this part of Wisconsin anyway, some changed weeks ago and were very colorful while there are still some green leaves on the trees yet. I really don't like how late Fall looks, I hate that everything looks dead, but I did find some beauty while out on a nice hike last weekend.

Pumpkin Patch
A couple weeks ago we went to Govin's Farm to go to the pumpkin patch. This was our first year going to this particular place for pumpkin time. I was disappointed that we couldn't even pick our own pumpkin! So I didn't even get a picture of THE pumpkin patch. The place we went last year was the same way. To me, that's all the fun in going to the pumpkin patch, I'm not huge into the corn mazes. I will have to find another one to go to next year.
